Every small business has a story, and ours begins in a garage.
Since March 2012, Playfully Ever After has been a family-owned business with a simple goal: create high-quality products that bring creativity and joy to families, classrooms, and homes across the country.
Founded by John and Adrienne Burger, what started as a small e-commerce business has grown into a family operation that has proudly fulfilled more than 700,000 orders (as of July 2026). Along the way, it has truly become a family effort. Over the years, our children and John's parents have all pitched in to help cut felt, package orders, and keep things running during busy seasons.
Even as we've grown, one thing has never changed—we're still a small family business that takes pride in every order we ship.
From Toys and Games to Handmade Felt Shapes
When Playfully Ever After first opened in March 2012, our focus was on selling toys and games from many of the biggest brands in the industry. As a wholesale retailer, we worked with well-known manufacturers to offer quality products to families across the country.
As the world of e-commerce became more competitive, we knew we needed to create something unique—something we could design, manufacture, and stand behind ourselves.
That led us to develop our own private-label line of pre-cut felt shapes.
Today, those felt products have become the heart of our business. They're used by teachers, parents, homeschool families, libraries, churches, dance studios, theater companies, and every-day crafters across the United States.
Made Right Here in the USA
Unlike many craft supplies that are manufactured overseas, every felt shape we sell is produced right here in the United States.
Our garage/warehouse has grown into a busy production space filled with multiple heavy-duty die-cutting machines and an extensive inventory of felt fabric in dozens of colors and styles. We keep a large supply of felt in stock so we can quickly produce and ship orders of all sizes, colors, and types of fabric from soft, stiff, and sticker felt.
Today, we offer more than 1,300 different SKUs, including felt circles, hearts, and star shapes.
Every order is produced, packaged, and shipped with care by our family.
